2022 World Championships Deck Rikuto Ohashi Ice Rider Palkia
The 2022 World Championships Deck Rikuto Ohashi Ice Rider Palkia is an official Pokemon TCG product celebrating one of the standout decks from the 2022 Pokemon World Championships. This sealed collectible gives fans and players a direct look at the strategy that competed on the world stage, packaged as a complete replica deck set from the Sword and Shield era.
Whether you are a dedicated collector building a library of championship history or a Pokemon TCG player looking to study competitive deck construction, this product delivers an authentic, officially licensed snapshot of high-level play.
Product Overview
This is the Rikuto Ohashi deck from the 2022 Pokemon World Championships, built around the Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX strategy. The deck showcases the Inteleon engine alongside key attackers, representing the kind of precise, consistent builds that defined the Sword and Shield competitive format. As part of the official 2022 Pokemon TCG World Championships Deck series, it carries the prestige of the event itself.
This is the same Pokemon championship deck series that has been produced annually to commemorate the World Championships, and the 2022 edition is a sought-after addition to any Pokemon TCG collection.
What’s Included
The sealed package contains everything needed to display or play the deck as it appeared at the 2022 World Championships:
- 60-card replica deck featuring the exact list played by Rikuto Ohashi
- World Championships booklet with information about the event and deck strategy
- Special pin commemorating the 2022 World Championships
- Special coin
- Deck box
- Playmat
- Poster
- Code card for the Pokemon TCG Online
Every component is sealed as part of the official product release, making this a clean, complete package for both collectors who keep it sealed and players who want to open and study the list.
Rikuto Ohashi Deck List
The Ice Rider Palkia deck built by Rikuto Ohashi centres on Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR and Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX as the primary attackers, supported by the highly efficient Inteleon engine for consistent item and energy searching. This combination gave the deck strong draw consistency and offensive pressure throughout the 2022 championship season.
The 60-card replica preserves the exact card selection, count, and composition from the tournament, making it a valuable reference for anyone studying the competitive meta of the Sword and Shield format. Owning the physical deck alongside the World Championships booklet provides context that online resources often lack.
Why Collectors and Players Want It
Championship decks are produced in limited annual runs, and the 2022 Pokemon TCG World Championships Deck series captures a specific moment in the game’s competitive history. Here is why this product stands out:
- Official replica: The 60-card deck mirrors the exact list from the event, not an approximation
- Complete collectible package: The playmat, poster, pin, coin, and deck box make this a display-worthy set, not just a card list
- Study tool: The included booklet breaks down the deck’s strategy, giving players insight into competitive decision-making
- Sword and Shield era piece: As the format rotates, sealed championship sets from this era become increasingly collectible
- Code card included: Adds digital value for players using the Pokemon TCG Online platform
Many listings for championship decks online are thin on detail about what the full package actually contains. This is the complete set as released by The Pokemon Company, sealed and intact.
Set Details and Release Information
This product belongs to the Sword and Shield series of Pokemon TCG releases. The 2022 World Championships were held in London, and the championship decks from that year reflect the dominant strategies of that competitive season. The Ice Rider Palkia deck was among the builds that defined the meta leading into and through that event.
If you enjoy collecting across the Sword and Shield era, you may also be interested in the Pokemon TCG Sword and Shield Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR Special Collection Box, which features Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR content from the same era. For players who enjoy competitive-themed sets, the 2024 Pokemon TCG World Championships Decks continue the championship deck tradition into the Scarlet and Violet format.
Fans of the Sword and Shield competitive scene may also want to browse the Pokemon TCG Sword and Shield Chilling Reign Elite Trainer Box (Shadow Rider), another product rooted in the same competitive era.
