100 New Cards Drop in February
Phantom Nightmare launched on February 9, 2024, bringing a 100-card set that mixes returning fan-favourite characters with enhanced support for existing archetypes. Whether you’re a competitive player or a collector, there’s plenty to dig into here.
Yubel Makes a Comeback
Originally featured in Phantom Darkness back in 2008, Yubel returns with a fresh suite of Effect Monsters, Spells, and Traps. Players can still run the classic three-form Yubel engine, or take advantage of a new Continuous Trap Card that enables Fusion Summoning a brand-new Yubel Fusion Monster — using your opponent’s monsters as Fusion Material. It’s an aggressive and disruptive addition to the archetype.
Majespecter Gets More Muscle
The Majespecter archetype receives meaningful support in Phantom Nightmare. These Pendulum Monsters carry built-in protection — they cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. The new additions reinforce this defensive identity while opening up additional play lines for dedicated Majespecter decks.
