Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions (SV8.5) released on January 17, 2025, and quickly became one of the most in demand Pokémon TCG sets in years. This special expansion celebrates Eevee and its Evolutions with Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, stunning illustration rares, and Poké Ball and Master Ball pattern cards. This guide covers what makes the set special, the cards collectors chase, and every Prismatic Evolutions product.

What Is Prismatic Evolutions?

Prismatic Evolutions is a special set in the Scarlet & Violet era with more than 175 cards. Eevee and all eight Eeveelutions appear as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, alongside popular Pokémon and Trainers from Paldea and beyond. As a special set, Prismatic Evolutions was not released in standard 36 pack booster boxes, so its packs come in Elite Trainer Boxes, booster bundles, tins, and collection boxes.

Best Prismatic Evolutions Cards to Chase

• Special Illustration Rare Eeveelution ex cards: the headline chase cards of the set, with Umbreon ex the most sought after.
• Master Ball pattern cards: reverse holo versions with a Master Ball pattern, a favorite of set collectors. Singles such as Vaporeon Master Ball Pattern are available in our Pokémon singles.
• Poké Ball pattern cards: a more common pattern that is still popular for completing a master set.
