Trainers and Pokémon Together — The Next Big Set Arrives March 28
The Pokémon TCG’s next major expansion is Scarlet & Violet—Journey Together, launching on March 28, 2025. The headline mechanic this time is the return of Owner’s Pokémon — a fan-favourite concept where iconic Trainers are paired with their partner Pokémon on the same card.
Confirmed Cards So Far
Three partnerships have already been revealed and they’re a strong roster:
- Lillie’s Clefairy ex
- Marnie’s Grimmsnarl ex
- N’s Zoroark ex
Each card carries the personality of both Trainer and Pokémon through its artwork, and given how popular these characters are, the illustration rares in this set are going to be some of the most sought-after of the year.
What We’re Watching For
The Owner’s Pokémon mechanic has historically produced strong competitive cards alongside premium collector pulls.
