Pikachu Tohoku Promo Box — New & Sealed Pokémon Center Exclusive (260/SV-P)

Description

The Tohoku Pikachu promo box is a new and sealed Pokémon Center Tohoku exclusive, featuring the coveted 260/SV-P promo card as part of a Japanese special collection box that collectors have been actively hunting since its regional release. This is Tohoku’s Pikachu in its most complete and collectible form, sealed in original packaging exactly as it left the Pokémon Center Japan store.

What’s Included in the Pokémon Center Tohoku Special Box

This sealed Pokémon Center Tohoku special box is a complete Japanese exclusive set. As with official Pokémon Center Japan special boxes in this series, the box is designed to include accessories alongside the featured promo card, making it a collectible package rather than a standalone card release. Because the box is new and sealed, all contents remain in their original, untouched condition.

• Tohoku’s Pikachu promo card, card number 260/SV-P, the regional exclusive that defines this release
• Accessory items consistent with Pokémon Center Japan special box releases, including items such as deck sleeves, a deck box, and a long card storage box
• Complete original outer packaging, sealed and intact

Note: Because this box is sealed, we present contents based on the product packaging. Do not break the seal if preserving collector value is important to you.

Why Collectors Want the 260/SV-P Tohoku Pikachu Promo

The Tohoku’s Pikachu 260/SV-P card is not available through standard booster packs or national Pokémon Center locations. It was distributed exclusively through the Pokémon Center Tohoku, a single regional store in Japan, making it a genuinely region-locked release. For collectors focused on the Scarlet & Violet promotional series, completing a set without this card is simply not possible.

What makes the sealed Tohoku Pikachu box particularly attractive to collectors is the distinction between owning the promo card loose versus owning the complete sealed package. A sealed box represents the product in its most preserved, investment-grade condition. Loose promo cards, even in high grades, cannot replicate the integrity of an unopened Japanese exclusive box straight from the source.

The 260/SV-P designation places this card firmly within the official Scarlet & Violet promo numbering, and its regional scarcity means resupply is not guaranteed. Collectors seeking a Japanese exclusive Pikachu promo box consistently target this specific release above comparable SV-P entries.

Condition: New, Sealed, and Authentic

This listing is for a new and sealed unit. The box has not been opened, inspected internally, or repackaged. The outer seal is intact, and the product is in the same condition as purchased directly from Pokémon Center Japan.

Authenticity and condition are the two questions collectors ask most often about Japanese exclusive releases. This is a genuine Pokémon Center Tohoku promo card box, not a reproduction, a repack, or a graded-box substitution. What you receive is the complete, sealed Japanese Pokémon special box as originally sold.

Why This Japanese Exclusive Is Hard to Find

The Pokémon Center Tohoku special box sealed variant is not distributed through standard international retail channels. It was sold in limited quantities at a single regional Pokémon Center location in Japan. Once sell-through occurs at the source, no restock is expected from official channels.

International collectors looking to buy a sealed Tohoku Pikachu promo box must rely on specialty importers and TCG-focused retailers who sourced stock directly. Supply on the secondary market is limited, and sealed units in pristine condition are increasingly difficult to find as collectors hold rather than sell.

If you have been searching for a Pokémon Center Japan Tohoku special collection box in new and sealed condition, this listing represents a direct opportunity to secure one without navigating Japanese proxy buying services or auction platforms.

For collectors who also enjoy the Pikachu V-Union line, our Pokemon TCG Sword & Shield Celebrations Pikachu V-Union Special Collection Box is another sealed Pikachu-focused collection worth exploring.

Shipping, Packaging, and Handling

We treat every sealed collectible box with the same care we would apply to a graded slab. The Tohoku Pikachu promo box is packed to prevent corner crush, surface abrasion, and seal damage during transit. We do not use thin poly mailers for sealed special boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the complete sealed box or just the promo card?

This listing is for the complete sealed Tohoku Pikachu special box, not a loose single card. The box includes the 260/SV-P promo card along with accessory items, all sealed in the original Pokémon Center packaging.

What language is this product in?

This is a Japanese-language product, released exclusively through Pokémon Center Japan’s Tohoku location. All cards and packaging are in Japanese. This is consistent with all Pokémon Center Japan regional exclusive releases.

Is the box guaranteed to be authentic?

Yes. This is a genuine Pokémon Center Tohoku exclusive sourced directly. It is not a reproduction, a repack, or a counterfeit product. The seal is intact and the packaging is in new condition as originally sold.

Should I open the box or keep it sealed?

That is entirely a personal decision based on your collecting goals. Collectors focused on investment-grade preservation typically keep sealed Japanese exclusive boxes unopened, as the sealed condition represents the highest-integrity form of the product. Players who want to use the card will need to open it. There is no correct answer, only your preference.

Is the 260/SV-P card available anywhere else?

The Tohoku’s Pikachu 260/SV-P was distributed exclusively at the Pokémon Center Tohoku location in Japan. It was not available through standard booster packs, national Pokémon Center stores, or international retail. Loose copies exist on the secondary market, but the new and sealed 260/SV-P Pikachu box is considerably harder to source.
