What’s Included

Each Sebastian Lashmet deck set comes packaged as a complete commemorative collection. While full box contents should be confirmed at point of purchase, this release is part of the official Pokémon TCG World Championships 2022 deck line and is presented in sealed condition. Based on the standard format for this product line, the set is designed to include the complete 60-card deck alongside supporting collector items. Refer to the product packaging for the definitive contents list.

The Pokémon World Championships deck format is produced by The Pokémon Company International as an official commemorative release, not a standard booster or theme deck product. These sets are produced in limited runs tied to the annual World Championships event.

Deck List

The Cheryl Again deck is built around the Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX archetype, one of the defining strategies of the Sword and Shield format. Sebastian Lashmet’s list leveraged the power of Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX alongside supporting Pokémon including Inteleon lines to enable consistent setup and search. The deck’s name, “Cheryl Again,” reflects the recovery-focused strategy that made it such a durable and difficult-to-close-out opponent at the highest level of competitive play.

The Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX strategy centers on spreading damage with G-Max Rapid Flow and then recovering key Pokémon with healing cards, a loop that earned the deck its distinctive name and gave Sebastian Lashmet the tools to advance deep into the 2022 World Championships bracket.

For players interested in the Rapid Strike Urshifu archetype in a ready-to-play format, the Pokemon TCG Sword and Shield League Battle Deck Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX is a related product worth exploring. That deck is designed for tournament-legal play, while this World Championships release is a sealed commemorative replica.

About Sebastian Lashmet’s Cheryl Again Deck

Sebastian Lashmet’s run at the Pokemon TCG World Championships 2022 placed him among the elite players of his generation. His Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX list was built with a clear strategic identity: use Inteleon’s Shady Dealings ability to tutor key trainer cards, apply spread damage with G-Max Rapid Flow, and then use Cheryl to wipe damage counters from Urshifu, resetting the loop and frustrating opponents who thought they were close to a knockout.

This combination of aggression and resilience made the Cheryl Again 2022 list one of the most talked-about decks from that season. Owning this replica deck means owning a direct record of that strategy as it existed on the World Championships stage.

If you’re interested in comparing the other 2022 World Championships decks from the same release wave, the 2022 World Championships Deck Rikuto Ohashi Ice Rider Palkia and the 2022 Pokemon World Championships Deck Andre Chiasson are also available, each representing a different finalist’s list from the same event.

Why Collectors Want This Worlds Deck

• Sealed condition: This product is sold sealed, preserving its collector value and authenticity.
• Limited release: World Championships decks are produced in conjunction with the annual event and are not reprinted as standard retail sets.
• Archetype documentation: The Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX strategy is one of the landmark decks of the Sword and Shield era, making this replica a meaningful record of that period in competitive play.

Collectors who want to own a piece of the broader Sword and Shield competitive era may also be interested in the Pokemon TCG Sword and Shield Battle Styles Booster Box, the set where Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX was originally introduced. For those looking ahead, the 2024 Pokémon TCG World Championships Decks continue the tradition with the most recent event.

Condition and Authenticity

This product is sold as a sealed official Pokémon TCG product. The cards within are card-for-card replicas of the competitor’s actual list and are presented in the official World Championships packaging produced by The Pokémon Company International.

An important note for buyers: the cards included in World Championships decks are not tournament legal for official Pokémon TCG sanctioned play. They are commemorative replicas and are distinguished from standard printings. This is consistent across all releases in the World Championships deck series and is not specific to this product.

If you’re looking for tournament-legal Sword and Shield era cards, the Pokemon TCG Sword and Shield Base Set Booster Box is a great starting point for building a competitive collection.
